We’ll be out supporting the local artists again this First Friday, and shows at Krzyz Photo will resume this spring. You can bet that rest of the East Crossroads will be hopping. Keep looking for our upcoming shows, the schedule is still coming together for next year.

Krzyz is at 1800 Locust, one block east of Oak in the heart of the east crossroads.
The Hilliard Gallery has The Art of The Drawing, a group show. Drawing is a form of visual expression and is one of the major forms within the visual arts. The Hilliard Gallery will feature this form of artwork during the Month of March. The opening will be on March 2nd and will feature work from artist that are from throughout the United States, over seas and here in the Kansas City Area. Opening First Friday March 2nd and Runs through the 24th of March. Regular gallery hours: 10-5 Tues- Fri, Sat 12-4. The Hilliard Gallery is at 1820 McGee. www.hilliardgallery.com
The Slap -n- Tickle Gallery will present “Verdant Melange” ~Things Past & Present~ Art by Thom Richart Featuring Finger Painted Pet Portraits, with accompanying video footage, and a variety of custom wood carvings, furniture and game tables! Preview Reception: Thursday, March 1st, 2012 6-9pm; First Friday Opening: March 2nd, 6-11pm with the band Whiskey for the Lady a 5 piece Bluegrass Band 8-10pm.
